What do you enjoy about your job? What aspects of your job are the most exciting or interesting?
The most interesting aspect of my job is the opportunity to promote good governance and to contribute to the global economic development through promoting access to the public administration/public policy education. Additionally I enjoy the project development and management aspects of my job in a multi-cultural environment at the national association with a global partnership.

Why did you choose to pursue an MPA/MPP degree?
I have pursued an MPPA degree to improve my skills and knowledge in social policy issues, good governance and essentials of economic development concept so that I am able to make tangible contribution to the poverty reduction both globally and in Azerbaijan. I would be pleased to have an opportunity to serve the poorest of the poor in any part of the world and to make a positive change in their lives working for international organizations and national governments.

How did you select your graduate school?
I have chosen my graduate MPA program based on the expertise of the faculty, the research capacity and the international focus of the program. I would suggest potential MPA/MPP students to give priority consideration to available specialization opportunities, the flexibility of the program and the international research capacity of the program when choosing an MPA/MPP school.

How do you feel your MPA/MPP is helping you to make a difference?
My MPA/MPP education has provided me with strong quantitative and qualitative research and policy analysis skills. I have used these skills to successfully complete my research assignment with the World Bank, and to carry out a comprehensive analysis of labor markets in Azerbaijan, which has been one of the first labor market studies in the country.

How would you characterize your personality?
* Creative * Persistent * Committed * Courageous * Analytical * Entrepreneurial * Comprehensive
