| What do you enjoy about your job? What aspects of your job are the most exciting or interesting? | ||
| Every day brings a unique job experience. |
||
| Why did you choose to pursue an MPA/MPP degree? | ||
| I was working in the field of public administration (for the Association of Municipalities in the Czech Republic.) After having earned home degrees for economics and sociology, I found it natural to expand abroad. |
||
| How did you select your graduate school? | ||
| I was more than pleased to learn I had won a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship with I.I.E. and I would be sent to Seattle to study at the Daniel Evans School of Public Affairs. Retrospectively, I believe I could not have found a better option myself. |
||
| How do you feel your MPA/MPP is helping you to make a difference? | ||
| I gained more personal insight into another culture only to learn that the challenges of public life and their solutions are very similar, yet local - I mean to be taken locally, never imposed. |
||
| How would you characterize your personality? | ||
| * Persistent * Creative * Curious * |
