| What do you enjoy about your job? What aspects of your job are the most exciting or interesting? | ||
| I enjoy working in a multicultural environment at the Asian Development Bank. The most interesting and exciting aspects are working on projects which have direct and positive impact on people in different countries in Asia. |

| Why did you choose to pursue an MPA/MPP degree? | ||
| At the time when I decided to pursue a master's degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst I had five years of a practical experience working on development issues in Central Asia. I felt that it was a time to go back to a graduate school and gain skills and knowledge that would further equip me in my work on development. |

| How did you select your graduate school? | ||
| I would strongly recommend to consider the Center of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (UMass). It is a relatively newly set up program, but has a variety of opportunities for learning from different faculties at UMass. Amherst area is also so-called "a five-school area" with four liberal art colleges and UMass. It is a really nice town in the western Massachusetts with a beautiful autumn season! |

| How do you feel your MPA/MPP is helping you to make a difference? | ||
| All of the skills and knowledge in the public policy analysis, statistics, public finance, which I gained during my MPA are of tremendous help in my current work. I am proud of my last year work at the Asian Developent Bank (ADB), where I acted as a project task officer, and which resulted in a grant financed by ADB on addressing several strategic education reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic, (an amount of 15.5 million). I hope there will be more opportunities to apply my MPA skills. |
