The Assembly of Kosovo elected Fatmir Sejdiu President of Kosovo in February 2006. Sejdiu was the author of the country’s Constitutional Frameworks in 2001, following the Kosovo Conflict. Mr. Sejdiu holds a Ph.D. in law and has served as professor of law and public administration at the University of Prishtina. Mr. Sedjiu spent a semester in residence at Arizona State University in 2003 as part of the Educational Partnerships Program between the University of Pristina and Arizona State. While at ASU, Mr. Sedjiu attended classes and worked to develop courses to improve programs in public administration at the University of Prishtina. |
