Our Masters of Public Affairs Program has been educating students since the early 1980s. Our graduates have been remarkably successful finding positions in the public service, as well as advancing in their current careers. Our alumni include town managers, directors of non-profits, professors, police officers, and many other important positions in public service.
Our program generally enrolls about 50 students who are taught by full-time professors, as well as experienced public servants. Most classes are taught in Asheville, but we also offer some courses in Cullowhee, and others on-line. Applications for admissions are accepted throughout the year. The program requires 36 hours to complete. Many students work on their degree part-time, while others are full-time students. We have a number of assistantships available for full-time students. |
