This program prepares students for careers in public service and non-profit organizations. It also prepares students for private sector positions having significant contact with public administrations. The degree provides pre-service and mid-career students with an appropriate mix of technical and generalist skills needed for management and analytic positions in local, state, and federal government, as well as non-profit organizations. Graduates are well-prepared for positions as a city manager, finance director, budget analyst, personnel director, special project coordinator and program analyst. The MPA program in Public Administration is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration. |
